There should have been other writings about things that happened that were fun and somewhat strenuous. Coachella/Big 4/Stage Coach (prep) were fun. Got to work with some of my tour bestees. After last summer I didn’t want to talk to anyone from that world. I realize I need them in my life no matter what and that life style is one I will probably never shake.
Been on the road a bit with Music is the Enemy. Two weekends of drunkenness, camping, and notable moments. I didn’t think that i’d admit to having so much fun with a new project. I mean ever. The kind of let-down that came with my last project was hard. The band, like any other band, was a lot of effort and time and I never thought doing anything else was possible or even in me. I’m happy that i have that feeling back of being apart of something musical again.
I’m on my way to NYC to start a tour with Friendly Fires. I’ve been excited for this for a while now. Great band and crew, stops with great friends, and a chance to make some of that green stuff. Their new record just dropped in the USA. It’s called Pala my favorite track on it is called “Hurting.” Let’s dance.
Plans. I’m making them. Hopefully i stick to them.
